Fueling Growth with Business Grants

The DSBC Foundation is excited to launch the DSBC Foundation Grant Fund, designed to empower small businesses and entrepreneurs in our community. With a focus on supporting growth and innovation, the grant fund offers financial resources to help new and existing businesses reach their full potential. In collaboration with the Delaware Small Business Chamber, the DSBC Foundation is committed to fostering a thriving business environment across the State of Delaware. Whether you’re looking to launch a new venture or expand an existing one, the DSBC Foundation Grant Fund is here to support your journey toward success.

The DSBC Foundation Grant Fund offers a base grant of $1,000 to eligible businesses. The grant amount can increase as follows:

$1,200: If the grant winner joins the Delaware Small Business Chamber, with the foundation covering part of the membership costs.
$1,500 or $1,700: For applicants relocating to empty commercial spaces.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the DSBC Foundation Grant Fund, businesses must satisfy the following criteria:

Start-up or Existing Business less than 5 years old: Open to new businesses or small businesses currently operating.
Intended Use of Funds: Funds must be used for business expansion and sustainability activities, such as:
Business licenses and permits
Equipment purchase
Building to capacity
Training and certifications
Supplies and inventory
Signage and branding
Advertising and marketing expenses
Website creation or improvement
Business Viability and Sustainability: Applicants must demonstrate how the grant will support the business’s growth and sustainability, not prolong closure or failure.

The DSBC Foundation reserves the right to request proof of receipts to ensure grant funds are used as intended.
